Two-Way Immersion Over-Enrollment Education Support Professional - 0.75 FTE at Rosa Parks Elementary

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Two years post high school education or higher, or be able to pass a standardized test approved by the state of South Dakota.
• This position requires constant hand-eye, mind-eye coordination, hearing; intermittent holding, repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers, opening, pulling, reaching, sitting, sorting, speaking, talking, turning and writing.
• Frequent bending over, carrying, filing, grasping, keyboarding and stooping are required.
• Demonstrated skill using a computer for word processing and data entry.

Essential Functions & Duties

• Affords assistance to teachers in identifying student needs.
• Provides tutorial assistance for students in all classes.
• Prepares instruction and supplementary materials.
• Keeps records.
• Checks papers, workbooks, homework and tests.
• Affords assistance to students with makeup work.
• Maintains student confidentiality.
• Affords assistance to teachers in supervising students in the classroom.
• May be requested by administration to transport students using personal vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.

PAY

Starting at $18.42 per hour.
Pay Day: Last working day of each month, based on the payroll cutoff schedule.

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch
0.75 FTE, 30 hours per week, 9 months
