About the role
The TV Analyst is responsible for assisting both the TV Team Leader and other TV Distribution team members with the processing of audio and visual programming, sharing in the overall responsibility of ensuring that ASCAP members are properly credited for the performance of their works in audio/visual media.
Responsibilities
- Identify and match cue sheets to performances.
- Request missing or incomplete cue sheets from suppliers.
- Upload missing performances to the performance database.
- Reconcile the station count and any informational discrepancies within performance data.
- Verify cue sheet content.
- Create and assign work records for cues.
- Control and manage check work records and performances that have been matched by third-party vendors.
- Integrate music video programming into distribution.
- Aid in the timely resolution of member-initiated inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, relevant work experience accepted.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and basic research aptitude.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize.
- Skilled at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) and internet applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, independent, and self-sufficient.
- Ability to work and interact with team members on a remote basis.
- Ability to connect and communicate with people at all levels of business and management.
- Interest in music, music licensing, and/or the TV and Film industry is preferred.
- This position requires the incumbent to be in the office one day per week.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $50,000 and will be determined on an individualized basis depending on several factors that are unique to each candidate including geographic location (due to differences in the cost of labor), skills, education and prior relevant experience.
Schedule
This position requires the incumbent to be in the office one day per week.
