Turbine Coordinator (Sr) - Generation Field Services - PSO /SWEPCO Service Territory

Job Summary

Exhibits a good fundamental understanding of turbine and generator sets. Acts as an associate coordinator reporting to a senior coordinator, principle coordinator, or superintendent. Networks throughout the system east and west to increase exposure and experience. Must understand and participate in project development, resource allocations, and specific duration expectations. Provides guidance for supervision and craft personnel. Assists in planning and developing work packages and outage plans with the project lead and planners. Continually looks for opportunities to increase knowledge and technical skills, and increases level of proficiency in inspection procedures, documentation, and visual examinations during required large steam turbine generator set overhauls. Familiarizes with computer programs (Work Management System/ Passport/ Turbine Tool/ Business Objects). Works safely and follows directions.

What We're Looking For

• Education requirements: Associate degree in a technical related field, or 6 years of turbine maintenance experience.
• Work experience requirements: 6 years of work-related experience in open inspect, clean, and close of turbine generator sets.

Physical Demands

M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Hearing: Normal range.
