Essential Duties
- Captures complex utility infrastructure and construction-related projects within plant, distribution, and campus utility systems.
- Directs contractors and monitors project activities in real time to ensure safe, efficient, and effective execution of work.
- Provides on-site observation and guidance to ensure projects meet operational, financial, quality, and service objectives.
- Supports planning and implementation efforts to align projects with departmental goals and standards.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4 years of project coordination, project management support, or related experience.
Department Preferences
- Plant operation and maintenance experience.
- GIS data collection experience.
- Ability to work independently without daily supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and contractors.
- Experience with using project planning software (e.g., MS Projects).
