About the role
The Field Coordinator supports ARCO's field operations and project team onsite in Sullivan, IN. They work closely with Superintendents and onsite personnel to ensure accurate documentation, up-to-date field resources, and smooth coordination between the office, field teams, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support in the field by working closely with Superintendents and onsite teams
- Onboard new trades workers, assigning them project badging
- Manage on-site canteen and associated vendors: food vendors, site lunches/catering vendors, clean up, vending machines, appliances, etc.
- Manage other site logistics vendors
- Manage select site deliveries
- Print and manage on-site signage
- Coordinate with city and county officials
- Manage trailer supplies and inventory and maintain stock
- Maintain a comprehensive field binder including: Executed Contracts, Change Orders, Submittals and approvals, Other critical project documentation, Management of local printing vendor
- Ensure drawing racks and field drawings are current, accurate, and properly distributed
- Print and distribute all necessary project documents for field use
- Schedule and coordinate field meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing meeting information
- Generate meeting minutes for select meetings
- Work with subcontractors to: Track and update compliance documentation, Collect and maintain current insurance certificates, safety documents, and other required paperwork, Assist with document control and coordination through Procore
- Support site communication between field and office teams
- Perform general field and administrative coordination duties as needed to support project success
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction coordination, field administration, or a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced field environment
- Comfortable working both onsite and with office teams
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to travel nationwide as-needed
- Technical Skills (Preferred): Procore experience, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Viewpoint experience, Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and documentation processes
