About the role

The role focuses on managing the processes involved in executing project phases, ensuring smooth coordination between various teams, and overseeing the operational flow. This role involves frequent site visits and hands-on interaction with field crews, clients, and subcontractors. The Field Project Coordinator must be comfortable working outdoors and in various job site conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Operations and Field teams to ensure the successful execution of work plans and schedules.
  • Participates in pre-construction and progress meetings with Operations and Clients to review project requirements and updates.
  • Oversees each project phase to ensure it is completed according to the plan, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Tracks project scope and progress, providing regular updates.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with Clients, Relationship Managers, Operations, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
  • Addresses client needs quickly and gathers feedback to improve service quality.
  • Acts as a liaison between field teams and project management to ensure goals remain aligned.
  • Buils and sustains positive relationships with Clients, subcontractors, and on-site professionals.
  • Regularly meets with the Client’s appointed representative to review the schedule and coordinate daily operations that may require collaboration.
  • Frequently visits assigned project sites to interact with field crews, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Measures and inspects key site features, such as parking spaces, handicapped stalls, ADA slopes, and asphalt square footage.
  • Documents the site with photos and videos, capturing overall lot conditions and repair areas.
  • Regularly assesses project progress by conducting site visits and overseeing various phases with the field crews.
  • Manages the scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites, ensuring proper staging for efficient use.
  • Safeguards all required resources to meet project timelines.
  • Supervises site logistics to guarantee field crews have access to necessary tools, materials, and equipment for each project phase.
  • Works closely with suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate timely and efficient deliveries and mobilization.
  • Reviews and processes invoices related to assigned projects.
  • Upholds company safety standards and policies, assisting others in maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in construction or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work long hours during the busy season.

Physical Requirements

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Constantly Moving about to accomplish tasks at a worksite or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Rarely Adjusting, moving and lifting objects in all directions.
  • Constantly Talking and hearing to communicate with others.
  • Constantly Seeing to perform job duties at close range, such as monitors or screens.
  • Constantly Seeing to perform job duties at a distance, such as driving or operating equipment.
  • Constantly Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Rarely Operating machinery and/or power tools.
  • Rarely Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
  • Rarely Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, in person. Monday through Friday, Saturdays as needed.

Travel

May have to travel within 100-mile radius.
