Position Title: Trusts & Estates Attorney Join a respected, family-owned trusts and estates law firm where attorneys handle sophisticated matters, build meaningful client relationships, and have the opportunity to grow toward partnership. This role will manage a diverse caseload of estate planning, trust administration, probate, and post-mortem matters from initial client consultation through completion, with exposure to complex and unusual cases that require strong judgment and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a California-barred trusts and estates attorney who is highly detail-oriented, relatable to clients, and confident managing a high-volume caseload. They are looking for someone mature, professional, and collaborative who values teamwork and brings both technical strength and a client-first approach to their work. Salary Range: $115,000–$175,000 / Year, DOE Responsibilities Manage a caseload of up to 60 trusts, estates, and related mattersOwn the full lifecycle of estate planning matters, including client intake, strategy, drafting, execution, and follow-upPrepare and review wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives and related estate planning documentsAdvise clients on estate tax planning, asset titling, beneficiary designations and trust fundingHandle trust administration, probate proceedings and estate settlements from opening through completionSupport disability planning matters including special needs trusts, conservatorships and ABLE account planningMaintain exceptional accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines, documents and moving pieces Requirements 3–5 years of trusts and estates experienceHands-on experience with trust administration, probate, conservatorships and trust formationStrong legal research, writing, and document-drafting skillsActive California Bar membershipAbility to independently manage a high-volume caseloadMature, professional, and approachable communication style with clientsCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with attorneys, paralegals and support staff Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance optionsSimple IRA with employer matchPTO, paid sick leave, and paid holidaysPaid CLE and bar duesLife insurance and AD&D coverageMonthly health and wellness benefitHybrid flexibility after 90 days with three days per week in the office If you are ready to take ownership of sophisticated trusts and estates matters while building your career with a collaborative, established firm, apply today.
