Responsibilities
- Draft and implement advanced estate planning strategies, including estate, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning, with an understanding of tax compliance and return preparation.
- Administer estates and trusts, including routine probate matters, trust accounting, and fiduciary guidance under Massachusetts law.
- Advise high-net-worth clients on business succession, charitable giving, multigenerational planning, and blended-family considerations.
- Collaborate with tax, corporate, and banking teams to align legal strategies with broader financial objectives.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional communication and trusted guidance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in trusts and estates, focused on high-net-worth individuals and complex planning matters.
- LLM preferred but not required; strong taxation knowledge essential.
- Proven experience drafting sophisticated estate plans and administering estates/trusts under Massachusetts law.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a professional, client-centered demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a dynamic, sophisticated practice.
Compensation
Salary: $190,000 - $270,000 per year. We offer a comprehensive compensation package, with a bonus structure that is particularly competitive in the Boston market, alongside:
