About the role

The Atlanta office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka seeks an associate with 1–3 years of trust & estates or tax planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft complex wills and trusts, including GRATs, installment sales to grantor trusts with formula valuation, CLAT/CRUT, and similar documents.
• Conduct significant family business succession planning.
• Prepare and review high‑net‑worth tax returns.
• Handle income taxation matters for individuals, trusts, estates, corporations, and partnerships.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of trust & estates or tax planning experience.
• Admission to the bar in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic credentials, particularly in transactional law courses.

Skills

• Strong writing and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team.
