Trust and Estate Attorney

About the role

A well-known and respected boutique trust and estate firm seeks a highly skilled attorney to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing comprehensive estate plans for clients to effectively manage their assets and minimize potential tax liabilities.
• Providing legal advice on trust and estate matters, including drafting and reviewing trust agreements, wills, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Navigating probate processes, including the administration of estates and trusts.
• Advising clients on tax law implications related to estate planning and trust administration.
• Representing clients in court proceedings related to trust and estate disputes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in trust and estate law, probate law, and tax law.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing various estate planning documents.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to estate planning and trust administration.
• Excellent negotiation, litigation, and dispute resolution skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in an understandable manner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
