Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of trust and estate law, including estate planning, wills, trusts, and power of attorney.
  • Draft, review, and execute legal documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents.
  • Represent clients in probate court and handle estate administration matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to ensure that clients' estate plans are in compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement effective strategies for managing clients' estates.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, provide exceptional service, and ensure that their estate planning needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trust and Estate Attorney.
  • Extensive knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts, and power of attorney.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • High level of professionalism and a strong commitment to client service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
