Full-time, non-exempt position with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Pay
- Trust Administrative Assistant I: $18.50 - $24.50 per hour
- Trust Administrative Assistant II: $19.25 - $26.50 per hour
- Trust Administrative Assistant III: $21.25 - $29.00 per hour
The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for trust accounts, including customer assistance, trust accounting, system processing, and account reconciliation.
- Handle day-to-day administrative responsibilities for a varied portfolio of trust, conservatorship, investment management, and custodial accounts while following sound fiduciary principles.
- Manage client relationships, monitor internal compliance and trustee requirements, and participate in coordinating operations and investment processes to ensure correct procedures, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Develop sound working relationships with customers, employees, and outside professionals such as attorneys and CPAs.
- Maintain active communications with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Coordinate with other ANB Financial Services personnel in the maintenance and service of accounts.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently and learn new software, including the trust accounting platform.
- Review documents and assist in setting up new accounts.
- Assist in performing account reviews.
- Coordinate and renew compliance requirements per legal documents to ensure proper actions are taken.
- Maintain customer accounts, including correct client instructions.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor accounts for sufficient cash balances to avoid overdrafts.
- Coordinate with customers and portfolio managers for purchase and settlement of investments and other transactions.
- Process account transactions and verify the accuracy of posted transactions.
- Deliver high-quality service as defined by department standards.
- Multi-task and prioritize daily tasks efficiently, as well as manage ongoing projects.
- Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, other banking regulations, and bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality as defined by department standards.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Trust Administrative Assistant I: 0 – 3 years of experience in trusts, trust accounting, and investments; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Trust Administrative Assistant II: 3 - 6 years of experience in trusts, trust accounting, and investments; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Trust Administrative Assistant III: 6+ years of experience in trusts, accounting, and investments; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
