About the position

The Adjunct Applied Classical Trumpet Professor will teach individualized lessons, starting August 24, 2026. Responsibilities include:

• Teach Applied Classical Trumpet during daytime hours on campus;
• Assist with recruitment for the Trumpet Studio;
• Participate in Brass Area initiatives, including performances, faculty recitals, auditions, and juries.

Required qualifications

• Master’s degree in Music required;
• Successful experience teaching at the college level;
• Demonstrated experience working with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds;
• An established reputation as a professional artist with a documented portfolio of live performances.

Preferred qualifications

• Doctorate in Music.
