Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the role

This position is responsible for washing tractor/trailer rigs and transporting rigs to and from the wash bay area while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
• Receive required training
• Perform various assigned positions
• Wash tractor/trailer rigs using high-pressure hoses
• Transport rigs to and from the wash bay area
• Complete all necessary documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet
• Ability to bend, stretch, and reach
• Ability to work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to read and write

Work environment

• Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Frequent exposure to high, precarious places
• Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
• Frequent risk of electrical shock and vibration
• Occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat
