About the role

Kemira is a global leader in sustainable chemistry for water‑intensive industries. In this role you will support the Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IN, delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers and helping improve water treatment efficiency through high‑performing chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers
• Loading and unloading tankers
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Complying with federal, state and local regulations regarding the safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials

Requirements

• Minimum 3‑years of experience driving a tractor‑trailer
• Minimum 3‑years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in a cargo tank (preferred)
• Commercial driver’s license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement
• Clean driving record (2.0 points or less)
• Basic math skills; thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations; and a customer service orientation
