Truck Driver NON CDL Local No Weekends

Ryder is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver in Stow, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay

• $1,100 or more per week
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.43 per mile with 1234 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop with 51 stops per week

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, no weekends
• Start Time: 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM
• 48+ hours per week

About the Role

• Deliver solo within an 80-mile radius of Stow, OH
• Local route with daily home return
• Truck Type: Box Truck (22' & 26')
• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck (Ryder provides training)
• Freight: Touch – Auto Parts
• Operate well-maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Verifiable driving experience in like equipment (6 months in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years)
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

Note: Candidates with a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a vehicle while complying with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
• Perform other assigned tasks
