Ryder is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver in Stow, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay
- $1,100 or more per week
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.43 per mile with 1234 miles per week
- Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop with 51 stops per week
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, no weekends
- Start Time: 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM
- 48+ hours per week
About the Role
- Deliver solo within an 80-mile radius of Stow, OH
- Local route with daily home return
- Truck Type: Box Truck (22' & 26')
- Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck (Ryder provides training)
- Freight: Touch – Auto Parts
- Operate well-maintained, safe trucks (36 months or newer) with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide locations

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Verifiable driving experience in like equipment (6 months in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years)
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Note: Candidates with a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) will be subject to FMCSA requirements, including a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive a vehicle while complying with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records
- Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
- Perform other assigned tasks
