About the role

The successful candidate will support Kemira's Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IN. Kemira's Industry & Water segment provides value-added support and high-performing chemicals to improve water treatment efficiency for customers.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Manufacturing Coagulants, Industry & Water segment in East Chicago, IN
• Delivering bulk liquid commodities to customers
• Loading and unloading tankers
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Complying with federal, state, and local regulations regarding the safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials

Requirements

• Minimum 3-years of experience driving tractor trailer
• Minimum 3-years of experience transporting bulk chemicals in cargo tank (preferred)
• Commercial drivers license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required
• Clean driving record (2.0 points or less)

Qualifications

• Basic math skills
• Thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
• A customer service orientation

Pay

The hourly rate for consideration for this position is $36.16 per hour with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.

Schedule

The position requires a slip seat and sharing a tractor.
