About the role
This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed, performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Layovers are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
Schedule
- Dispatch time: 11 PM - 12 AM
- Rotating work week
- 2 to 3 layovers per week

Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency (required for federal compliance)
- Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location
- Must complete Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Must accept responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must frequently move, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and the rear cargo area
