Truck Driver - Class A - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay: $99,476 plus performance incentives up to $10,400 per year.

About the role

Perform multi-stop, no-touch deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. Live load and unload; average 9 stops per week. One layover per week (Wednesday into Thursday). Hazmat endorsement required upon hire.

Schedule

• 4-day work week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Dispatch times: 5 AM – 6 AM
• Average 50 hours per week
• One layover per week

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
• Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years (or 2 years in the last 5 years)
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequent movement: stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely/frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
