Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Drivers.

About the role

You will drive late‑model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best‑in‑class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward‑facing in‑cab cameras to help ensure safety for all.

Responsibilities

• Deliver grocery freight to a major grocery chain, including freezer, cooler, and dry products.
• All deliveries are dock‑to‑dock with no pallet breakdowns required.
• Unload and stage product in designated store areas.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years.
• 3‑year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency required (per 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Ability to accept responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.

Requirements

• Physical demands: close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg); occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.

Pay

Average $83,000 annually on a 4‑day work week; average $91,000 annually on a 5‑day work week.

Schedule

Multiple schedules available, including Tuesday‑through‑Saturday, Sunday‑through‑Thursday, and Friday‑through‑Monday options. Current openings include 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM start times. Four‑day and five‑day work week opportunities are offered.
