Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Average annual pay of $86,000 plus a $3,000 annual safety bonus. Home daily with consecutive days off.

About the role

You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Deliver palletized product to local grocery stores—pallet breakdowns are not required. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Schedule

Multiple schedules available with consecutive days off. PM dispatch. Additional $200 incentive for picking up a 6th day.

• Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance
• Operate vehicle safely and maintain a constant state of alertness

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in your state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency (required by federal law for this role)
• Complete Penske employment application, background investigation, and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting
• Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area

Pay is issued every Friday. Most driving positions offer home daily.
