You’ll drive late-model Penske trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with home daily, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.
Pay
Average annual pay: $71,700. Additional earnings include:
- $5,000 retention bonus
- Monthly Safety Bonus: $250/month
- Monthly Fleet Performance Bonus: Up to $300/month
- Driver referral bonus: Up to $5,000 per referral
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 12:00 PM start time
- Home daily
Responsibilities
- Safely perform drop-and-hook and live-load deliveries of manufacturing components to customers
- Complete an average of 32 scheduled stops and 27 drop-and-hook assignments weekly
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on all tractors and equipment used
- Escalate equipment repair needs in a timely manner
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and dispatch

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
- 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- English language proficiency (required by federal law for compliance with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
- Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location
- Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area

- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting required
- Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
