Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

About the role

Full‑time Home Daily Class A CDL Truck Driver position with a dedicated route, requiring a Hazmat endorsement and offering daily home time.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to dealerships.
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages.
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3‑year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Ability to follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency (required for compliance with 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specific location.
• Complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner; accept responsibility for own safety and the safety of others.
• Physical demands: see and hear; close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach; regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs (23 kg), occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg); legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.

Pay

Average $87,000 annually, with additional performance incentives available up to $10,400 per year.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 AM dispatch.
