About the role

Work at various dedicated local accounts and shifts as needed. Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You’ll represent both Penske and our clients—often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms.

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • English language proficiency (required by federal law 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
  • Ability to work the required schedule at the specific location
  • Must pass background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Skills

  • Safe operation of a motor vehicle
  • Frequent entry/exit of vehicle and rear cargo area
  • Manual unloading using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Product scanning and delivery documentation

Physical Requirements

  • See and hear clearly; specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Frequent movement: stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg

  • Late-model, Penske-maintained trucks with best-in-class comfort and safety specs
  • Inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras for safety
