Truck Driver CDL A No Touch

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Alburtis, PA for a mixture of home daily and regional lanes. The role involves operating well-maintained sleepers and day cabs (36 months or newer) pulling 53' dry van trailers with no-touch, drop-and-hook freight. Drivers have 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling access at over 800 nationwide locations.

Pay

• Drivers average $1,500 – $1,700 per week on this account
• Weekly pay, mileage-based (mileage + stops)
• Layover pay provided

Schedule

• 52+ hours per week
• Monday–Friday with occasional Sunday dispatch as needed
• Primarily AM dispatch start times
• Overnights required for route; Ryder books hotel

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience (one of the following):
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within the past 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within the past 10 years
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines
