About the role
The Program Director is responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical approach of the assigned program. This includes ensuring the core tenets of Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) are delivered to clients across all programmatic living areas, ensuring IMR and adjunctive therapies meet evidence-based practice and fidelity standards, and continuously refining the program manual to reflect current practices.
Responsibilities

- Ensuring IMR and adjunctive therapies meet evidence-based practice and fidelity standards, and continuously refining the program manual to reflect current practices
- Maintaining operational stability and interdepartmental collaboration to keep client services routine
- Providing direct support and supervision to interdisciplinary Team Leaders
- Overseeing the biannual revision of treatment schedules across all programmatic living areas
- Promoting the development of high-performing, values-based individuals and teams
Requirements
- A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Pharmacology, Nursing, Education, Business, Public or Health Care Administration, or a closely related field
- AND four or more years of professional experience in mental health, education, social services, public administration, or a closely related area
Preferred skills
- Experience in providing or supervising treatment modalities including, but not limited to, Illness Management and Recovery, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing
- Experience in risk assessments and case conceptualization, specifically within inpatient, forensic settings
