Trial Paralegal

About the role

Partner closely with Trial Counsel to support complex litigation matters, coordinate trial preparation, and ensure cases are organized, efficient, and trial-ready.

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation and trial support throughout all phases of the litigation lifecycle
• Cookpilot trial preparation, including management of pleadings, discovery, deposition materials, and evidence
• Prepare subpoenas, trial exhibits, witness files, trial binders, and electronic trial notebooks
• Cookpilot trial logistics, witness scheduling, and courtroom presentation support
• Maintain organized and accurate case files to ensure accessibility and compliance
• Aid Trial Counsel during trial proceedings with exhibit management and courtroom support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and litigation support experience
• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience supporting civil litigation
• Experience supporting insurance defense or first-party property insurance litigation strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience supporting trial preparation and courtroom proceedings
• Knowledge of civil litigation procedures, trial preparation practices, and Florida court rules
• Strong organizational, communication, and document management skills
