Trial Attorney - Multiple Successful Placements!

An established, 30+ year law firm specializing in legal malpractice and professional liability is seeking a senior attorney for its expanding team in downtown Los Angeles. This is a hybrid on-site role requiring presence in the office at least three to four days a week.

Responsibilities

• A-Z case management of legal malpractice, professional liability, and business litigation matters from inception through trial
• Work with a team of 1-3 attorneys per case, often alongside a partner
• Develop and manage client relationships, with the opportunity to transition clients to your own portfolio
• Handle discovery, including depositions
• Draft and argue law and motion pleadings
• Make court appearances
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel

Requirements

• 7+ years of litigation experience
• Exposure to legal malpractice and professional liability (a major plus)
• Trial experience
• Strong writing skills for non-templated, complex law and motion
• Active California Bar license
• Commutable to downtown Los Angeles

Pay

Salary range: $190,000 – $235,000. Bonuses are paid twice per year for billable hours exceeding 1,850.

Schedule
