Attorney - Multiple Successful Placements!

About the Role

A senior attorney is sought for the expanding team of an established, 30+ year law firm specializing in legal malpractice and professional liability. This is a hybrid on-site role based in downtown Los Angeles, with an expectation to be in the office at least three to four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Work on legal malpractice, professional liability, and business litigation matters.
• A-Z case management of cases from inception through trial.
• Manage cases alongside a partner and 1–3 other attorneys.
• Opportunity to develop clients into your own.
• Handle discovery, including depositions.
• Law and motion practice.
• Court appearances.
• Pleadings.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Exposure to legal malpractice and professional liability is a major plus.
• Strong writing experience.
• Licensed by the California Bar.
• Commutable to downtown Los Angeles.

Compensation, Benefits & Other Perks

• Salary range: $140,000 to $180,000.
• Billable hour requirement: 1850 (includes time spent on senior attorney mentoring, client development, business development, and CLEs).
• Bonus paid twice per year for any hours above 1850.
• 10% generation fee on collections from any client brought in, even if the attorney does not work on that matter.
• Medical insurance covered 100% for employee and immediate family, effective the first of the month after employment.
