About the role

We are currently looking for Associate Attorneys for the following practice groups and office locations:

  • Corporate Associate (Minimum two years of experience) in our Milwaukee office
  • Estate Planning Associate (Minimum three years of experience) in our Milwaukee or Madison office
  • Labor and Employment Associate (Minimum four years of experience) in our Green Bay or Appleton office
  • Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate in our Milwaukee office

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing practical, business-focused counsel and high-quality work product. This position offers meaningful client contact, mentorship from experienced attorneys, and opportunities for professional growth and business development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and business issues.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, agreements, correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, and other work product.
  • Advise clients and provide practical, strategic solutions based on their goals and circumstances.
  • Manage matters, projects, and deadlines from initial assignment through completion.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, support staff, and external parties.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across offices and teams to provide high-quality client service.
  • Stay current on relevant legal developments and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and the firm’s collaborative culture.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

RELEVANT LEGAL EXPERIENCE IN A LAW FIRM, CORPORATE LEGAL DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT AGENCY, OR COMPARABLE SETTING. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS MAY VARY BY OPPORTUNITY.

  • R涉关法律经验在律师事务所、企业法律部门、政府机构或类似机构。
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines and internal and external demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Able to work cooperatively and effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to client service, professional excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Interest in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment and a strong desire to contribute to team and client success.
  • Able to work full-time, including variable hours that align with client needs.
