Trial Attorney
About the role
Morgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice of plaintiff's lawyers and supporting case staff in our New Haven, Connecticut office. The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability / automobile accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs in New York. The lawyer's responsibilities will focus on litigating cases, including trial prep and trial, but will not generally handle pre-suit matters.

Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of litigation cases.
- Drafting and filing litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
- Guiding plaintiff clients through the case process.
- Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting expert reports, and affidavits.
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Requirements
- Law degree (J.D.) from a fully accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in Connecticut.
- Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury / auto liability / MVA experience.
- Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
Pay
Salary Range: $200,000 USD - $350,000 USD
