Trial Attorney
About the role
In this role, you will see that clients receive the best care and obtain excellent results. You are expected to meet with clients to discuss their case, show compassion and empathy, and demonstrate an ability to earn their trust, confidence, and respect. You will also update clients and communicate with insurance companies from time to time regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers. In addition, you should be able to prepare the case for trial and try the case if needed.
Requirements
- Full-time position
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 6 or more years of litigation experience
- 5 or more jury trials as first chair preferred
- Member of the Georgia Bar and in good standing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Experience in evaluating claims
- Superb negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently in an office environment
- Team-oriented
