About the role

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in various types of insurance claims including water damage, hurricane damage, fire damage, theft claims, and more.
• Assist clients in understanding their insurance policies and identifying coverage gaps.
• Prepare and file insurance claims on behalf of clients.
• Advise clients on legal options available to them in the event of an insurance dispute.
• Handle discovery requests and prepare documents for court proceedings.
• Conduct research on relevant laws and regulations impacting insurance claims.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure successful case outcomes.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Louisiana.
• At least 3 years of experience in insurance litigation or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Experience with insurance bad faith cases.
• Knowledge of Louisiana insurance laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually.
