About the role

Join our team as a dedicated insurance claims attorney. Our firm is seeking an experienced professional to handle complex property damage cases, including water damage, hurricane damage, fire damage, and theft claims. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling insurance bad faith and business interruption cases.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in litigation and negotiation of insurance claims
• Assist clients in navigating the insurance claims process
• Provide legal advice on insurance policies and coverage
• Prepare and file legal documents related to insurance claims
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Louisiana
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with Louisiana insurance laws and regulations
• Knowledge of insurance bad faith and business interruption claims
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$70,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
