Trial Attorney

About the Role

Commercial Litigation Attorney – Trial Experience based in Dallas, Texas. The firm seeks a litigator who will take genuine ownership of cases, work directly with clients, and spend meaningful time in depositions, hearings, mediations, and the courtroom. The position offers the chance to develop significantly more trial experience, even for candidates without extensive prior trial work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full litigation lifecycle, from case inception and discovery through depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial.
• Handle a caseload that includes commercial litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense matters.
• Develop case strategy alongside experienced partners.
• Assume increasing responsibility for your own cases.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Strong commercial litigation experience.
• Courtroom and trial experience, or a genuine desire to gain significantly more.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage cases and competing deadlines.
• Personal injury litigation experience is particularly valuable.
• Insurance defense experience would also be advantageous.
• Ambition to continue developing as a trial attorney.

Pay

$160,000–$190,000 compensation.
