Truetimber's Tree Care Advisors provide sound arboricultural advice and concise, well-written proposals to valued clients. They are motivated to help the company succeed, working approximately 50 hours a week to communicate with clients and the operations department, ensuring a smooth experience from initial consultation through job completion. Advisors prioritize environmental mindfulness, client satisfaction, and team collaboration while prescribing work aligned with industry standards and best practices.

About the Role

This role involves conducting on-site consultations to develop customized tree care plans and estimates, building client relationships, and driving repeat business and referrals. Advisors monitor and achieve individual sales goals, stay updated on industry best practices, and participate in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency services. They also contribute to Truetimber’s blog and social media content, collaborate with the operations team, and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site consultations with clients to develop customized tree care plans and estimates.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Monitor and achieve individual sales goals.
  • Stay current with and implement industry best practices.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency services.
  • Contribute to Truetimber’s blog (Urban Forest Dweller) and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure successful execution of tree care services.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Resolve client complaints promptly.
  • Ensure prompt responsiveness to clients and team members.

Requirements

  • ISA Certified Arborist.
  • ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).
  • At least 5 years of experience in Arboriculture.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales.
  • Above-average computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to produce a clean driving record.
  • Above-average knowledge of tree identification, tree diseases, insect identification, and industry standards (A300 and Z133).
  • Experience as a Climbing Arborist.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CVNLA Certified Horticulturist.

Pay

Compensation: 100% commission with weekly draw payments.
