TREATMENT SUPERVISOR

About the role

Treatment Supervisors at Abraxas Youth & Family Services are responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and employees, developing schedules, interviewing candidates, providing supervision, and fostering a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains employee schedules to ensure adequate clinical coverage.
• Interviews and selects candidates for posted positions.
• Structures, implements, and facilitates new employee on-the-job orientation.
• Writes professional development plans and conducts supervisory conferences and performance evaluations.
• Determines and implements progressive discipline when necessary.
• Schedules employee training to meet mandatory requirements.
• Directs and facilitates treatment-planning reviews.
• Provides ongoing clinical supervision to counselors and monitors case management activities.
• Schedules team meetings and implements activities to promote teamwork and communication.
• Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and provides supervision to staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and one year of experience working with children OR; Bachelor’s degree and two years’ of experience working with children.
• Prior supervisory experience in a residential setting or similar.
• At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Criminal clearances (specific State & child clearances and FBI).
• Non-communicable diseases physical exam, drug testing & TB testing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license from employee’s state of residence.
• Valid registered vehicle insurance.
• Ability to work with computers and relevant software.

$33.00-$35.00 per hour

Full-Time
2nd Shift: Tuesday – Sunday; 2:45pm – 10:45pm
