About the role

As a Treatment Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure the safety and well-being of both clients and employees. This role involves leadership, training, and fostering a collaborative environment to promote high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and safety for clients and staff.
  • Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
  • Interview and select the most qualified internal candidates for posted positions.
  • Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation.
  • Write professional development plans in conjunction with employees to aid in their training and growth.
  • Conduct supervisory conferences and performance evaluations, document meetings, and provide feedback.
  • Determine and implement progressive discipline when needed according to policy.
  • Respond to step I grievances.
  • Schedule employee training to ensure all mandatory requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing supervision to unit employees and monitor case management activities.
  • Schedule and plan team meetings, implement agendas, and promote teamwork and communication.
  • Support the Abraxas philosophy and mission, and promote the Seven Key Principles of care.
  • Demonstrate appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and supervise staff in its use.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or 60 college credits and three years of experience working with children; OR Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience working with children.
  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances, and FBI if necessary).
  • Valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
  • Valid registered vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to work with computers and necessary software used by the department.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Days (7am – 3pm) and Evenings (3pm – 11pm)
  • Weekends Required
