About the role

Portland Braces and The Modern Orthodontist are seeking a part-time enthusiastic Treatment Coordinator Assistant to join their thriving practices in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA.

Responsibilities

• Build a solid relationship with patients, family members, and co-workers to ensure the targeted outcome is achieved.
• Demonstrate interests in patients, engage them in conversation, and do anything necessary to ensure a positive and unique experience.
• Absorb and update patient records (pano, ceph, photos, digital scan).
• Enter relevant patient information into the computer and file all incoming correspondence and x-rays once they have been scanned.
• Manage active patient files and archive files for patients who are no longer in treatment.
• Submit digital scans and prescriptions to outside labs for application fabrication.
• Aid in the creation of a seamless new patient experience.
• Aid the Treatment Coordinator/clinic assistants in various tasks such as sterilizing instruments, disinfecting treatment areas, and organizing tasks.
• Assist in onboarding patients with the remote monitoring system.
• Perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice.

Requirements

• Dental or Ortho office experience considered an asset.
• Previous experience working in professional sales considered an asset.
• Good with computers and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Certified Dental Assistant an asset.

$24.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Schedule

Tuesday through Thursday. Typical schedule includes 2 days in Portland and 1 day in Vancouver. 24-27 hours/week.
