About the Role
Health Care Resource Centers is seeking an accountable, process-oriented, and efficient leader to oversee the operations of our Opiate Treatment Program (OTP). This role involves managing a diverse team of nurses, counselors, and auxiliary staff to meet the needs of patients undergoing treatment for opioid addiction while ensuring the clinic's daily operations and performance align with budgeted goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and performance of the OTP clinic.
- Manage clinic operations to achieve budgeted and planned results.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, managing, counseling, and terminating clinic staff.
- Provide direction to clinic personnel and communicate corporate mandates, goals, and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (SAMHSA, DEA, CARF, JCAHO, HIPAA, etc.) and manage federal, state, and local applications, filings, licensure, permits, and approvals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.
- Assist with partnering opportunities, linkage/support agreements, and other relationships to drive census growth and meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators of clinic measures and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with the OTP Medical Director, Psychiatric Consultant, OTP Compliance Manager, and QA/QI activities on compliance, performance improvement, productivity, quality patient care, customer service, operational enhancements, census growth, and contractual requirements.
- Familiarize yourself with OTP federal and state laws, regulations, CARF/JCAHO standards, and their application.
- Maintain and update policy and procedure manuals and clinic operations manuals.
- Serve as a clinic resource and provide or arrange training as needed.
- Maintain patient, employee, and company confidentiality.
Development Responsibilities
- Engage in community relations, education, and development activities to drive and maintain census.
- Identify and implement tactical steps to increase and retain census.
- Ensure clinic operations are prepared to handle increased census.
- Participate in political activities to maintain company connections, such as local government board meetings, MTP advisory board meetings, and ADAA meetings.
- Lead efforts to identify, hire, and train personnel with cultural diversity to meet future clinic needs based on patient demographics.
- Participate in the overall Company Performance Improvement Process.
- Familiarize yourself with standards required by the Board of Health, OSHA, etc.
- Assist with marketing programs and literature development as requested.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience as an administrator of a clinical program.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Understanding of clinic operations, with significant experience working in the field of substance abuse.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, Federal, State, and CARF standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage personnel.
- Strategic thinker capable of recommending alternative solutions, executing, and monitoring progress.
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously and generate ideas and benefits for the company.
- Customer service-focused, eager, and energetic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Pay
Salary ranges from $100,000.00 to $111,385 annually. The salary for the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, specialty, and training.
