TREATMENT CENTER COORDINATOR, School of Dental Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry

The Treatment Center Coordinator in the department of Pediatric Dentistry is responsible to execute the daily Treatment Center activities under the direction and guidance of the Treatment Center Manager and the Clinical Program Director. The Treatment Center Coordinator is responsible to collaborate with the front desk staff, faculty and residents to ensure that the Pediatric Treatment Center is running smoothly and serve as the contact person for all Pediatric Treatment Center matters for patients, residents, vendors, and the universities administrative staff.
Required Skills
- HS Diploma required and 3-5 years' experience.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands.
- Ability to identify problems/issues, critically think through problems (gather and analyze information skillfully) and present potential solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality, remain open to others' ideas with willingness to try new things.
- Must be able to successfully collaborate and work in a team environment while also being an individual contributor.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills demonstrating the ability of accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality.
- Prior work experience in an academic and office setting is highly desired.
- Incumbent needs to be a self-starter who possesses and effectively demonstrates exceptional coordination and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Must be comfortable working in a people-driven environment demonstrating an outgoing nature with the ability to interact with students/residents, faculty, staff and patients and various academic and administrative departments throughout the dental school. Customer service oriented.
- Able to communicate efficiently in person and over the phone
