Treasury Specialist
About the role
The Treasury Specialist will collaborate with and support the firm's treasury department, handling both Accounts Receivable and Client Trust activities. This role is critical for processing and reconciling cash receipts and disbursements.
Responsibilities
- Record incoming cash receipts via various payment methods into the firm’s operating account.
- Process subsequent cash receipt applications and write-offs as needed.
- Reconcile daily cash receipts to the bank report, addressing any discrepancies or missed entries.
- Support audit requests related to cash receipts.
- Process Client Trust cash receipts and disbursements.
- Communicate with Partners, Legal Practice Specialists, Billing, and Collections teams regarding unallocated and Client Trust balances.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from AR and Client Trust ServiceNow queues, addressing cash receipts or Client Trust balance inquiries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Work Environment
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprised of remote and in-office work, the requirement for which will be determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor and may be modified in the firm’s discretion in the future.
