Treasury Sales Officer I - Healthcare Not For Profit - Higher Education

This role is part of our in-office culture with specific requirements for office-based attendance, allowing for role-specific flexibility. As a Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) in the Healthcare NFP Higher Education Group, you will manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio of Not-For-Profit Healthcare companies and Higher Education institutions. This position supports consistent growth in healthcare, driven by organic client growth and market share gains.
Responsibilities
- Lead product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, and closing complex, high-dollar deals or emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients.
- Act as the product sales or industry expert in client calls, identifying opportunities and influencing solutions.
- Drive collaboration between product, sales, and client relationship teams to package market-leading solutions addressing client challenges.
- Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio, including prospect opportunities outside the portfolio.
- Partner with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and others to provide U.S. and international treasury solutions tailored to client needs.
- Serve as a digital ambassador, driving adoption of mobile, digital, and real-time payments.
- Engage with complex Not-For-Profit Healthcare and Private Higher Education companies as their trusted advisor on working capital, financial technology, and industry-specific issues.
- Articulate and understand the not-for-profit, healthcare, and higher education environments, including reform and industry trends, to engage in strategic conversations with C-suite executives and Revenue Cycle teams.
- Lead and participate in speaking engagements with key industry organizations (e.g., HFMA, NACUBO).
- Proactively create impactful client/prospect events centered on industry trends (e.g., Innovation, Fraud, Patient Satisfaction, System Integration).
- Advise clients on P2E and digital strategies involving payments, receipts, liquidity, card solutions, revenue cycle solutions, and eCommerce.
- Engage with driven client teams to maintain momentum with existing clients and prospects.
- Drive expansion of Solutions Per Relationship (SPR).
- Accountable for revenue/product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparations, and leading client-facing treasury presentations.
- Identify and evaluate treasury solutions based on client-focused cost/benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis.
- Maintain strong client focus while understanding the operational aspects of the bank, including awareness of treasury products and services used by clients.
- Lead strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning.
- Drive and be accountable for revenue growth, profitability, client planning, client calling, portfolio development, pricing strategy, and proposal/presentation development and delivery.
- Focus on client relationship development, from growing new relationships to deepening existing ones through thoughtful identification of client needs.
- Ensure responsible revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, client calling, portfolio development, pricing strategy, and proposal responses.
- Partner with bankers and product specialists to develop customized treasury solutions based on client-focused cost/benefit and bank-focused profitability analysis.
- Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and Year-over-Year (YoY) growth.
- Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts and collaborate with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Treasury Sales Officer experience.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Successful track record in treasury management sales with broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends.
- Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proven negotiation and active listening skills with strong executive presence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field preferred).
- For-profit, Not-For-Profit, Higher Education, or Healthcare banking/Revenue Cycle experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of banking experience.
- Prior Card solution experience is a plus.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- MBA or equivalent is a plus.
