This role is responsible for leading product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, closing complex and high-dollar deals, and emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients. The Healthcare NFP Higher Education Group Treasury Sales Officer (TSO) manages and actively pursues treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio of Not-For-Profit Healthcare companies and Higher Education institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and actively pursue treasury revenue streams and product penetration across an assigned portfolio; in some cases, pursue client prospect opportunities outside the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Client Managers, Treasury Sales Analysts, Credit Officers, FX Trade Advisors, Global Investment Advisors, Card Managers, Trade/SCF Advisors, Liquidity Specialists, and other enterprise partners to provide U.S. and international treasury solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Act as a digital ambassador driving adoption of mobile, digital, and real-time payments.
  • Engage with complex Not-For-Profit Healthcare and Private Higher Education companies as their working capital, financial technology, and trusted advisor.
  • Understand the not-for-profit, healthcare, and higher education environments, including reform and industry issues, to engage in strategic conversations with C-suite executives and Revenue Cycle teams.
  • Lead and participate in speaking engagements with key industry organizations (e.g., HFMA, NACUBO).
  • Proactively create impactful client/prospect events centered on industry trends (e.g., Innovation, Fraud, Patient Satisfaction, System Integration).
  • Advise clients on P2E and digital strategies involving payments, receipts, liquidity, card solutions, revenue cycle solutions, and eCommerce.
  • Drive expansion of Solutions Per Relationship (SPR).
  • Accountable for revenue/product growth, client calling initiatives, portfolio development, pricing, RFP/RFI responses, call preparations, and leading client-facing treasury presentations.
  • Identify and evaluate treasury solutions based on client-focused cost/benefit analysis and bank-focused profitability analysis.
  • Maintain strong client focus while understanding the operational aspects of the bank; leverage industry awareness of treasury products and services.
  • Manage and lead strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues using best practices, peer benchmarking, industry data analytics, and solution positioning.
  • Drive and be accountable for revenue growth, profitability, client planning, client calling, portfolio development, pricing strategy, proposal development, and delivery.
  • Focus on client relationship development, from new client growth to deepening existing relationships through thoughtful identification of client needs.
  • Ensure responsible revenue and balance sheet growth, profitability improvement, client calling, portfolio development, and pricing strategy.
  • Partner with bankers and product specialists to develop customized treasury solutions based on client and bank profitability analyses.
  • Lead pricing and negotiation discussions to optimize relationship profitability and Year-over-Year (YoY) growth.
  • Coach and mentor Treasury Analysts and collaborate with Servicing and Implementation teams to support client needs and deliver solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Treasury Sales Officer experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Successful track record in treasury management sales with broad and deep familiarity with global treasury management products, services, and trends.
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills with complex clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; strong executive presence.
  • Proven negotiation and active listening skills.
  • Adept at critical and strategic thinking and problem resolution.
  • Strong business/financial acumen.
  • Ability to maneuver through the enterprise, engage partners, and escalate as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong partnerships within the core team.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities in an organized fashion while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Able to work as an individual contributor and as a close team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively manage risk while balancing the needs of the client, team, and bank.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (required).
  • For-profit, Not-For-Profit, Higher Education, or Healthcare banking/Revenue Cycle experience (desired).
  • 3+ years of banking experience (desired).
  • Prior Card solution experience (desired).
  • B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree (desired).
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification or equivalent (desired).
  • MBA or equivalent (desired).
