About the role

This role manages a portfolio of clients, focusing on strategic expansion, marketing, and ensuring bank products and services meet client expectations. The Treasury Sales Client Officer II serves as a lead in coordinating complex Request for Proposal processes, building partnerships with key client decision-makers, and conducting portfolio business reviews with a focus on revenue realization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with Middle Market clients, retaining and growing existing revenue while deepening solutions per relationship.
  • Manage pricing and profitability, and conduct phone/web-based client outreach.
  • Deliver integrated treasury solutions to clients within an assigned portfolio, partnering with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities.
  • Actively manage and pursue treasury revenue streams, increasing product penetration across the portfolio.
  • Provide product expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Coordinate fulfillment requests and regular relationship review meetings with the client team.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, improvements, and industry initiatives to benefit clients.
  • Maintain client focus, treasury industry expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank’s structure.
  • Drive revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with strategic and tactical needs.
  • Develop data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts.
  • Participate in the Client Management Process to develop and deepen client relationships through thoughtful identification of needs.
  • Build relationships with internal business partners and key client decision-makers, completing account/portfolio business reviews.
  • Ensure service and fulfillment requests are directed to relevant teams, responding to client and partner requests promptly and keeping stakeholders updated.
  • Maintain client pricing (changes, new services) and ensure accurate billing for all products and services.
  • Manage client escalations and keep the internal team informed.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities through account analysis and regular client interaction.
  • Protect and grow revenue while adhering to risk guidelines.

Requirements

  • 3 years of prior treasury sales experience.
  • Product and financial acumen.
  • Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally through strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and opportunities.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills to balance multiple sales activities.
  • Deep understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services.
  • Understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to identify, manage, and escalate risk responsibly.
  • Passion for learning, courage, knowledge of the bank network, and effective business partnering.

Qualifications

  • B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree (desired).
