This hybrid junior sales/treasury associate role focuses on managing a portfolio of Middle Market clients. Responsibilities include developing strategic plans for expansion, coordinating complex Request for Proposal processes, and ensuring bank products and services meet client expectations. The role involves deepening client relationships, managing pricing and profitability, and driving revenue growth through integrated treasury solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank's structure.
  • Drives revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with strategic and tactical needs within the region of coverage.
  • Develops data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts.
  • Participates in the Client Management Process, focusing on relationship development from new client growth to deepening existing relationships through thoughtful identification of client needs.
  • Builds relationships with internal business partners and key client decision-makers; completes account/portfolio business reviews.
  • Ensures service and fulfillment-related requests/queries are directed to relevant teams, responding to all client and partner requests in a timely manner, and keeping stakeholders updated on progress.
  • Maintains pricing for clients (pricing changes, new services) and ensures all products and services are billed accordingly while managing client escalations and informing the internal team.
  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities through account analysis and regular client interaction.
  • Manages client escalations and keeps the internal team informed.
  • Protects and grows revenue.

Requirements

  • 3 years of prior treasury sales experience.
  • Product and financial acumen.
  • Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally through expert verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and opportunities.
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize, and balance multiple sales activities.
  • Deep understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services.
  • Understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to proficiently identify, manage, and escalate risk to grow the business responsibly.
  • Passionately curious, courageous, knowledgeable of bank networks, and effective in business partnering.

Qualifications

  • Desired: B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree.
