Treasury Sales Client Officer II
About the role
This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with duties that include developing measurable strategic plans to foster expansion, creating effective marketing and communication plans, and ensuring bank product offerings and service support meet client expectations.
As a Treasury Sales Client Officer II, you will serve as a lead in coordinating complex Request for Proposal processes with Treasury Sales teams, build partnerships with business partners and key client decision makers, and complete portfolio business reviews focused on revenue realization.
In this hybrid junior sales/treasury associate role, you will actively manage and pursue treasury revenue streams, increase product penetration across an assigned portfolio, and provide product expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives. You will also coordinate regular relationship review meetings, identify process improvements, and maintain a strong understanding of treasury industry trends and the bank’s structure.
Responsibilities
- Retain and grow existing revenue while seeking opportunities to deepen client relationships through integrated treasury solutions.
- Manage pricing and profitability for assigned client portfolios.
- Conduct direct phone and web-based client outreach to drive engagement and sales.
- Develop data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitize payments/receipts.
- Participate in the Client Management Process to develop new relationships and deepen existing ones through needs identification.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners and key client decision-makers.
- Complete account and portfolio business reviews to assess performance and growth opportunities.
- Ensure service and fulfillment requests are directed to the appropriate teams, responding to client and partner inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate pricing for clients (including pricing changes and new services) and ensure proper billing for all products and services.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities through account analysis and regular client interaction.
- Manage client escalations and keep internal teams informed of developments.
- Protect and grow revenue while adhering to risk guidelines.
Requirements
- 3 years of prior treasury sales experience.
- Product and financial acumen.
- Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally through strong verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.
- Ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and balance multiple sales activities.
- Deep understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services.
- Understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to identify, manage, and escalate risk responsibly.
- Passion for learning, courage, knowledge of the bank network, and effective business partnering.
Qualifications
- B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another relevant undergraduate degree (desired).
