Treasury Intern
About the role
This internship will primarily assist with daily treasury transactions and staff, including cash management and cash reporting activities. The position will also help manage all administration related to the setup and maintenance of bank users, products, and services. Additional duties include analytics and organization of processes or scenarios related to other finance areas of the organization.
The U.S. Venture Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
Responsibilities
- Assist in completion or data sourcing related to daily cash management operations such as cash positioning, reporting, and shared service center enquiries
- Maintain current authorized signers; maintain bank account database and files, and manage online banking portal users and entitlements
- Record appropriate general ledger entries for company cash transactions
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Research and reconcile exception items, such as unexpected charges and missing deposits
- Assist in coordinating efforts with other finance areas, such as accounts payable, tax, and accounting
- Compile and analyze data to support treasury operational decisions and drive improvements in cash management
- Develop and document procedures
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or similar field of study
- Ability to work independently to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High attention to detail and consistency in delivering high-quality work output
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (including use of macros and pivot tables)
