Role: Traveling Leak Survey Technician
What You'll Do:
- Protect Communities
- Inspect natural gas distribution systems across assigned territories
- Conduct leak surveys using industry-leading gas detection technology
- Accurately document findings and complete compliance reports
- Follow strict safety protocols and federal/local regulations
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and members of the public

Work Outdoors & Stay Active

This role is made for people who thrive outside.
- Walk approximately 4–7 miles per day
- Work in varied terrain and weather conditions
- Bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Stay on your feet throughout your shift
- Operate specialized equipment

Compensation & RV Support Package

  • Competitive Base Pay

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check
  • Reliable personal vehicle meeting program standards
  • Proficiency with smartphones and tablets for field reporting
  • Ability to read and interpret utility maps
  • Strong reliability, accountability, and a safety-first mindset
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • No prior gas industry experience required — we train you from day one and set you up to succeed in the field.
