Traveling Construction Materials Technician II

General Responsibilities

Join our Traveling Construction Materials Technician team to explore new opportunities, develop professionally, and contribute to thrilling projects nationwide. This position involves 100% travel throughout the Southeast division including Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and coastal Georgia. You will travel 100% of the time to work on high-profile projects such as transportation, commercial buildings, wind farms, and more in various geographical areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of materials testing experience
• Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
• Required Certification: ACI certification in one or more of the following areas: Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I, Concrete Strength Testing Technician, Certified in radiation safety and Nuclear Density Gauge operation

Preferred Certification

• Certifications in one or more of the following areas: NICET Level II certification in Construction Materials Testing in one or more of the following categories: Asphalt, Concrete, Soils, NICET Level II certification in Geotechnical in one or more of the following categories: Construction, Laboratory, Exploration, Generalist, ICC certification in one or more of the following categories: Reinforced Concrete, Spray-applied Fireproofing, Structural Masonry, Prestressed/Post-Tensioned Concrete, Structural Steel – Bolting, Structural Steel – Welding, American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Associate Welding Inspector (CAWI), American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II certification in more than one of the following areas: Visual Testing (VT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

This position has been categorized as a "Remote Only" position. Remote employees do not have a designated workspace at an office and typically work from home or another location. The national standard salary range for this position is $19.50-$27.50. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
